Cabernet reserve label: the art of silkscreen in label design

Fortunately, things have changed a lot. Today, cities like Belgrade—and Serbia as a whole—welcome tourists and travelers with open arms and extraordinary hospitality. It’s a land rich in scenic beauty and culinary excellence.

Just south of Belgrade, in the Šumadija region, lies the Radovanovic winery—or podrum, as they call it locally. Behind this exceptional family-run business is Miodrag “Mija” Radovanovic, an energetic and warmhearted Serbian winemaker. Alongside his talented daughter Tijana and with constant investment in quality, they have managed to bring their wines beyond borders—onto stages once unimaginable but now well deserved.

Their Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a deep, intense wine shaped by over 18 months of barrel aging, delivering wonderfully fragrant notes of Balkan wild berries. It has won countless awards, including a gold medal at the “Emozioni dal Mondo” competition in 2015.

The label on this remarkable red was printed on Ultra WS metallized wine paper in antique gold from Arconvert. We enriched it with glossy gold foil to heighten contrast, set it against a velvety matte black silkscreened background with glossy details, and used Detaluxe® to give the logo and winery name a visually and tactilely striking presence.
