All our papers are mold-resistant—inalterable and non-darkening—and anti-scrap—resistant to temperature and humidity variations. For your whites, we offer the best barrier wine papers. With pearlescent finishes and high aesthetic impact, these papers are suitable for white wines, sparkling wines, and champagne. They are perfect for these products, which, between the fridge and ice bucket, come into contact with many potentially harmful external agents like water, ice, condensation, and humidity. The two main risks for this type of label are managed by two characteristics: Wet Opacity and Wet Resistance, also called Wet Strength. Wet Opacity helps when the label, due to prolonged immersion in the ice bucket, loses coverage: the white tends to become transparent. Wet Resistance helps with moisture resistance: if Wet Resistance is low, there is a risk of labels developing wrinkles, bulges, and bubbles, and potentially peeling off.
