The Pantone Color Institute is a U.S.-based company globally recognized for its Pantone Color System. The company describes it as a universal language of color designed to help businesses, brands, and designers determine which color — or combination of colors — best represents their products or communicates their brand identity.

The Pantone Color Institute collaborates with renowned companies across various industries, from cosmetics to marketing, providing strategic consulting in design and, specifically, in the use of color within corporate marketing strategies. Since 2000, following meetings with representatives from international color standards groups, the Pantone Color Institute has announced a Color of the Year.

On certain special occasions, such as in 2016 and 2021, the Institute selected two Colors of the Year instead of one.

New year, new color. This time, it’s Peach Fuzz.

Peach Fuzz has already gained significant recognition from leading companies. On the Institute’s website, one can find examples of well-known brands — from cosmetics to telecommunications — that have already incorporated Peach Fuzz into their products. It remains to be seen what impact this color will have throughout 2024, and how it will be embraced by a broader range of players, from corporations to designers around the world.
